This is probably the Silas Ratliff also known as "Anselus" who died in 1811. The rest of the ancestry shown here is based on that identification and internet sources. The source for the name "Anselus" has not been located, but it appears in several internet genealogies. While it is possible that "Silas" could be regarded as a nickname of "Anselus", most of the internet sources place this name in brackets, as if it were a speculative reading of a difficult manuscript.
We transcribed the will from FHL microfilm #0033330:

While he might logically be known as Silas Ratliff Junior, to distinguish him from his father who is identified as Silas Ratliff Senior in his will of 1811, one of the witnesses to that will was also a Silas Ratliff Junior, presumably one of the nephews of Silas Senior, since it would not be appropriate for an heir to serve also as a witness for the will.
