Son of Anthoine Fleureton and Marie Couzet, according to transcribed death record in the Leiden collection. It would be easy to turn Crozet into Couzet, as the written French "r" of this period looks very much like an "o" that is not closed at the top. In a biographical sketch of Moyse Fleureton, he is cited as the brother-in-law of Marie Nicolas, the widow of François Fleureton, proving that François himself is actually a son of Anthoine Fleureton and Claudine Crozet. Birthplace not actually listed, apparently. Théophile was present for the baptism of his niece Antoinette Floreton at Erlangen in 1700.
[3756] Birthdate cited as 30 apr 1761 (sic) in Tollin's Geschichte des Franzosichen Colonie von Magdeburg, evidently intended as 1671. Mother's name listed here as Marie Couret, likely from the Magdeburg church registers.

She is mentioned as the sister and godmother of Catherine Elizabeth Floreton. In order to serve in this capacity, she would have to be past her first communion, generally around age 15 in most of the French protestant congregations we have studied. She might even be a couple years older (her parents were married in 1684 in Annonay), since a young woman's first appearance as a sponsor at a baptism seems often to have been meant as a signal that she had reached the age of marriage.
