Culmann, Geschichte von Bischweiler, p. 147, 1826). The marriage of Anthonius is recorded in the "Kirchenbuch der Evangelisch-Lutherischen Gemeinde von Bischweiler, Heiraten von 1684-1745", designated 3 E / 46 / 34 Bischwiller depôt, in the Archives départementales du Bas-Rhin, page 31, identifying the groom, Anthon Lanx, as the son of the late Samuel, passamentier of Colmar.

The marriage record is followed by a note in Latin: Nota: Haec pos benedictionem sacerdotalem gravida est reperita, quare novus maritus eam repudians parenti reliquit, cum ... enixo partu et poenitentia publica testata stipulataque certae pecuniae summa cursus gratiam iniit, inque thorum recepit. The missing text and some word endings are lost in the binding. However, no child was born in the year after the wedding, or at least, not baptised in this congregation.

Age at death 52 years less 12 days, from which his exact date of birth is computed, consistent with his baptismal record at Colmar.
