With her sister Claudia, and with approval of their husbands, she made a "reconnaissance" 19 nov 1466 for property subject to the Convent of the Domincans at Estavayer (AEG Grosses Dominicains 30, commissaire Ludovicus Musard, fol. 22). At that time, she was married to Alexander de Gradibus. The reconnaissance also reveals a maternal brother, Petrus Richard, who had already died. Note that her marriages could have the effect of producing a connection between the de Gradibus and Gachet families, either by blood (half-siblings, for example) or by the inheritance of property. As the Pontherose family, which some sources suggest was affiliated in some way with the Gachet family of Payerne, was also known as de Gradibus, there is a possibility that more of the remote history of the Gachet family can be discovered.

Press coverage of his 100th birthday and then his death in 1884 appeared in several newspapers in Iowa, where he is identified variously as a grand uncle of J. J. H. Reedy (then living in Columbus, Nebraska), or as the grandfather of David Alexander Magee of Sioux City, who in turn was a cousin of J. J. H. Reedy (this latter version appears to be the correct one). Newspaper articles in Pennsylvania place him at Reidsburg or Reedsburg, in Clarion Co. at the time of his centenary.
