The burial record at Wolfisheim has not been completely deciphered, but might say that she died suddenly in Strasbourg. It certainly says that she died on January 9, 1722: "Die 9 januarii sterb Maria Margaretha, mein Johann Strassen Evangl. Pfareherr allheir liebl... haussfrau..." — and that her age was 64 years, 5 months, and 3 days. Her maiden name is given in the baptismal records of her children, recorded in the handwriting of her husband, and is usually spelled Redtslob.
The marriage record at Eckartsweier was found in records extracted by the Family History Library, where it was transcribed as Kedlslob.

Date of death and place of burial not known. In Nov. 1760 Catharine, wife of Abraham Arndt joined in a deed of conveyance of a property in Franconia Twp., Philadelphia Co., PA. Catherine must have died between 1761 (after the birth of the last child) and 1770 when it was noted that Abraham's wife was named Mary or Anna Maria.

The Reed Genealogy does not give information about Catherine, other than her name. Old correspondence from Lloyd Craigo (March 1983) indicates that, according to his research, Catherine was aged 15 in the 1850 census and that she was probably the daughter of Frederick's 2d wife, Elizabeth, by her first marriage, rather than a child of Frederick & Barbara.
Mr. Craigo also noted a marriage record of one Catherine Ann Snyder to a William Reed on 19 March 1854, and who would have been the right age to be this child. Further research is necessary.
