A document in the communal archives of Rolle (item number 426, dated in 1461) involves Perret Jaillet de Givrins, donzel, and is signed by Aymonet Robert. A Perretus Jaillet with wife Margrita is mentioned in the terrier Fh 123, fol. 586v, in the course of a reconnaissance dated 11 jul 1456 for Petrus du Rossey, as the owner of an adjacent property. The same couple — Perret Jalliet et Marguerite sa femme — is mentioned in the terrier Fh 211, fol. 509v, in the context of owners of property at Bougy-St.Martin in the distant past. He is also cited in the terrier Fi 16, fol 285v, in a reconnaissance dated 19 sep 1449.
He must descend in some way from Franciscus Jaillet or Jalliet, as noted in the following item from the "Nouveaux Titres" of the ACV: "C XXII NF00689 Cote ancienne: Nouveaux Titres: 6590 Intitulé: 1371 juillet 31. Revers des soeurs Céciliette femme de Perret Cassaux & Jaquette ffeue Mermitte, qui était fille de Jaques Mennier de Rippes, contenant leur engagement de payer dorénavant au couvent de Bonmont 12. d de rente, assignée sur une oche en l'estraux rière Givrins, le tout à l'ordre de François Jaillet de Givrins & de François de Sous Viz de Genollier et en leur décharge d'une rente de 12. d, que feu Jean de Givrins Donzel grandpère maternel des dits Jaillet et de Sous Viz avait légué au dit couvent."
