[15325] More research is necessary to determine which Chamberlain children belong in this family grouping. Elinor Smith in her Descendants of Nathaniel Dickinson, 1978, shows several children who do not appear in the account of the Chamberlain family published some ten years later by Ethel Farrington Smith in her article entitled Seventeenth Century Hull, Massachusetts and her People (NEHGR 142, 1988). She cited Prentice Glazier's Chamberlain Families of Early New England and New York, typescript (1973) but it is unclear where this article is filed.
It is probable that Nathaniel, Ephraim and Richard (mentioned in the Dickinson genealogy) belong in another Chamberlain family or another generation of this Chamberlain family.
