Georges was the guardian of the heirs of Pettermand Planche from at least 1589. His wife was the granddaughter of Jean Planche and Phillippa, and there was evidently some connection between these Planche families, as Georges' father-in-law Claude Ollevey owed the him (acting in capacity as guardian of the heirs) a sum of money and interest relating to the marriage settlement of Claude's wife Benigna, daughter of Jean Planche and Phillippa. It is probable that Pettermand was a son of Jean and Phillippa.
