A document recorded 07 jul 1643 (Jean Morel, notary at Vevey), concerns settlement of an inheritance from the Olevey family. Jaques Dutoit appears as father and administrator for his children "heuz de feue Salomé fille de feu Pierre Olevey". The statement that he is acting not just for "his" children, but for the children specifically of Salomé, gives further weight to the conclusion that this Jaques remarried, and probably about 1625, to Jaquemaz Gantin or Vantin.
