Baptismal name appears to be abbreviated, something like Dtea Catharina, and she was named after "Dtea Catharina", wife of Rudolph Baltzer. The name needs to be verified. She was probably not the the Anna Dorothea Lang who was apparently the wife of Johann Zumber ?, their daughter Anna Elisabeth buried at Bischwiller 10 jul 1720, age 6 months and 4 days, and Anna Dorothea herself died 29 sep 1725 and buried 01 oct 1725, age 33 years, 11 months, 3 days, thus born 26 oct 1691.

(ID #I21295)
[10672] Nothing is known about the parents of Eunice/Lucy Langdon. Many records for Rowe, MA have been searched and the presence of Langdon families has been noted. Moses, Isaac, William, Gideon, Amzi and Joshua all were early settlers.
Isaac Langdon belonged to the Congregational Church; Gideon and Amzi were of the Congregational Evangelical Society in 1833. Isaac Langdon was probably about the same age as Isaac W. Clary as they appear in Rowe at about the same time (1784-89). LDS films have been searched (Corbin Mss Collection; Vital Records of Leverett 1705-1843).
Oct. 2006: Today checked several New England sources looking for Langdon ties. Wm Cutter, in his New England Families, has several early Langdons.....a Tobias from Portsmouth; a George Langdon, from Wethersfield, CT to Northampton, MA; and a third, John Langdon, from Farmington with ties to Root and Kilbourn families. All of these need further checking.
July 2007: 1790 cn for Rowe, MA (Hampshire Co. at that time) shows an Isaac Lankton with 4 males 16 & over; 3 males under 16; 4 females; no slaves, pg 122. Need to look at actual film, note neighbors, etc.
[10673] State census shows Eunice Clary, living nextdoor to her son, Isaac B. Clary and family. Three females in this household; probably daughters Eunice and Roxanna, both of whom were single.
[15654] Marriage record for Eunice and Capt. Baldwin not found but assumed to be in MA. See letter from Margaret Bock, genealogist for the Dickinson Family Assn. Info from unknown source.
Capt. Baldwin on a list, dated at Cambridge, 24 Apr. 1775, of officers serving in Col. Sargent's Regt. He was also on a list, dated at Albany 24 Oct. 1777, of prisoners taken by Lt. Gen. Burgoyne.. He was exchanged for British prisoner Capt. Montgomery of the 9th Regt. A granddaughter, Miss Susan Sills, said that Capt. Baldwin was killed in the Rev. War very soon after his marriage to Eunice.
Tombstone inscription reads: "Eunice consort of Doct. Isaac W. Clary died Jan. 28, 1828 in the 67th year of her age. Blessed are the dead that die in the Lord".
Info on my branch of the Clary family, as published in the Descendants of Nathaniel Dickinson, was not totally accurate. Revisions and further information have been sent to the Dickinson Family Association genealogist for inclusion in the next update of that genealogy.
Married Eunice Langdon, widow of Capt. Isaac Baldwin. (Date and place of marriage unknown, but probably in MA).
Protestant minister.
