Two of his sons, Jean Louis and Jean, made a settlement 24 may 1683 (Gaspard Mayor, notary, ACV DB 27). Most of the André's children were probably born during the interval for which the baptismal records of the parish of Bière have been lost.

The alias "Termoz" bestowed on his descendants may simply be a form of his given name. He is known as Anselmus, Ansermus, Sermé, and Sermoz in various documents, all apparently referring to the same person. He might be a relative of the Philippe Baudin (Boudyn, etc.) who lived near him about 1529.
Philippe Baudin appears in the terrier ACV Fg 52 (Commissaire François Gross of Bière, fol. 14, reconnaissance dated 07 oct 1529), which says that he came from the parish of "Boegy". His property had all been purchased from others in the past couple of decades. The name of his home parish does not name the diocese to which it belonged. Nearby, Ansermus had his property (reconnaissance begins on fol. 1, dated 15 mar 1536), but it had all come from his wife by succession from her father, so it is evident that Ansermus had likewise come from another place. The reconnaissance of Philippe (1529) does mention adjacent property owned by Ansermus which had been previously owned by Pierre de Mollens, "en Planoz alias en Espynetes" (fol. 16), so we may be sure Ansermus was present at least as early as 1529. However, the property in question is not listed in the reconnaissance (1536) of Ansermus and his wife. This might mean that he or they had sold the property by 1536, or that it was not a part of the territory of Mollens that was subject to the priory of Romainmôtier (for example, it might have been part of the holdings of the de Mont family).
("Boegy" might be Boëge in Chablais, a short distance east of the city of Geneva. Or, it might be simply a variant spelling for Bougy-Villars, near Aubonne, or Bogis, near Nyon. The fact that it was listed without indication of the diocese suggests we should look for the nearest such village, which would be Bougy-Villars.)
He is mentioned (as Sermoz Baudin of Mollens) in a document of 10 aug 1550 (ACV P Château de Vufflens 529) which recounts that Jaques Chausson alias Forrachon of Ballens had been executed at the Château de Vufflens and his estate confiscated by the seigneur, Pierre Mestral. Their Excellences of Bern subsequently ordered that the seigneur should retain a third of the estate, the other two thirds to be returned to the heirs, whose guardian was Sermoz Baudin. Pierre Mestral then rented his third to Sermoz for the price of 25 écus d'or.
