Joyce or possibly Rejoice has been taken as the daughter of William Plasse by his first wife. While this is possible, no evidence has yet surfaced that he had such a daughter. The basis for this claim is presumably that Richard Waters declares himself the "son-in-law" of Plasse. But 17th Century usage would give him that relationship through his mother's marriage to William Plasse, even if Joyce is not the daughter of Plasse.
