Appears as a widow in the 1810 census with (most of) the expected children. In 1805, she purchased from the executors of Peter Middleton, one of the trustees of the Argyle patent, 97 acres of Lot 109. This might represent a mortgage transaction, by which she had obtained cash after her husband's death, or payment of a lien. As the lot (including farm and town lots) originally had 450 acres, more work is needed to understand how the property was divided. Her will dated 17 dec 1844 was proved 03 dec 1846, including specific mentions of several deeds etc. (Wills, vol. D, pp. 79-84).
