This person appears at a baptism with his mother Jaqueline Monod, 23 may 1652 at Mollens. He would be past the age of confirmation at that date. There is also a slight chance that the entry is defective and that the mother should be Judith or Jaqueline Caillat, in which case this is Isaac Mayor son of George Mayor b. 1635.
A document recorded by the notary Jean Pierre Monod 02 jan 1703 concerns a settlement of Jean François Mayor and his sisters Gabrielle and Jeanne with Françoise Mayor, widow of the late Jean Louis De Venoge of Cossonay, regarding their inheritance from their aunt Françoise Jaquemard, wife of André Beliard who was living at Geneva. The only known Gabrielle Mayor of about the right generation to be the sister of Jean François and Françoise Mayor seems to be the one who was the daughter of Isaac Mayor and Susanne Jaquemard, thus apparently resolving the parentage of the parties to this settlement, even though it does not actually state that Françoise was a sister of the others.
This Isaac Mayor, identified by his parentage, is the subject of a reconnaissance in Fg 151, fol. 57, Jaqueline Monod relicte de feu honnorable et prudent Jean François Mayord de Ballens faicte par Egrege Isaac Mayor dudict Ballens, curial de Bussy et de Yens, son fils, au nom d'icelle, 03 feb1663. In this reconnaissance, there is mention of property held jointly with "Phoelix Monod, Chastelain de Biere" his brother.

So far, we have found no direct evidence of the parentage of the Isaac Mayor who married Anne Salomé Bégoz. He is called "Discret" in 1699. He may be the Isaac Mayor who died 18 nov 1737 at Mollens, age 70. If so, that would place his date of birth about 1667.
There is also direct evidence for Isaac son of Félix Mayor of Mollens. A testament made 27 aug 1683, Gaspard Mayor notary, reveals that Isaac was about to spend time abroad, naming his mother Marie Valier and his bien-aimées sisters Jaqueline, Louise, and Susanne. He might have been as young as 16 or 17 at that time.
All of these isolated facts appear to be consistent, and there seems to be no other Isaac Mayor from Mollens at that period. Therefore, at least temporarily, we show Isaac son of Félix as the husband of Anne Salomé Bégoz (she would probably be related to the mother of Isaac) and also the same Isaac who died in 1737.

Noted as son of Jean Samuel Mayor, Juge de Ballens, in marriage record. From the date, it appears Isaac Henri must have been born before Isaac Samuel. His father apprenticed him to Isaac Fine, surgeon in Geneva, 14 jun 1724 (Jean François Choisy I, vol. 3, p. 214). Since it is hard to believe he would be apprenticed to a surgeon at age 12, it is tempting to believe that Isaac Henri was born about 1708, even though no record has surfaced. His death record in 1768 says he was about age 58, which conflicts with the birth date of his sister Jeanne Marie (however, her baptismal record was added later and is thus also subject to some uncertainty).
The apprenticeship contract, at least, is clear and precise:

In addition to confirmed children, there is a marriage at Lausanne, Jeanne Susanne daughter of Isac Mayor of Echallens, to Pierre Antoine Louis son of Jean Pierre Chapuis of Epalinges, 31 dec 1784. This appears to be a different Isaac Mayor. Our Isaac Samuel appears as a catechumen at Bière 12 apr 1732, along with Pierre François Felix Mayor, not yet identified. It is very likely that some record will be found of his estate.

He made a reconnaissance as "Jacobus Monod alias Noblet sutor filius Petri Mayor a patria absentis des Ballens nunc habitator et burgensis Albone", 04 mar 1531, for various properties subject to the priory of Romainmôtier (Fg 52, fol. 173v). However, by the time the reconnaissance was copied into the final terrier, likely about 1536, the title that was added above the text is somewhat different, "Confessio Jacobi Monod alias Noblet sutoris dez Ballens habitatoris Albone filii quondam Petri Mayor" (and not indicating he was or had ever been out of the country), implying, it seems, that his father Petrus Mayor had been away from the area in 1531, but had since died. Nothing further had been learned about Jacobus, and we found no indication that he left any descendants.
There is, however, a pair of reconnaissances in a terrier for the church of Yens, 1522, one by Jacobus son of Petrus Maior of Ballens, the other for Anthonius Maior of Ballens, both for the same cense and based on the same prior reconnaissance of a bequest by Anthonia, somehow connected with the wife of Anthonius dou Verney.
